欧洲议会目前正在就《航空旅客权利条例》的更新进行谈判，其中包括强制要求航空公司为家庭提供免费相邻座位的提案。
虽然立法进程仍在进行中，但议会的立场支持明确规定，航空公司不应为安排儿童与其随行成人相邻而收取额外费用 www.euroconsumers.org。
截至 2026 年 2 月下旬，该条例仍处于谈判阶段，欧盟理事会和议会正在努力敲定修正案。
